| Hey ladies! Haha I've been snooping around this website for months, and I've finally decided to join.
I'm pretty much a beginner with makeup. I don't do a lot of dramatic looks, but I've recently spent over $400 in makeup at MAC, Nordstroms, and Sephora this summer =X. Haha maybe I'll do a post on it later on.
So this is my "everyday look," of top and bottom liner, a neutral brown/taupe shadow, and light mineral foundation with shimmer, which I did for my HS graduation this past spring. (I'm on the right)
I have really rosy cheeks, and I always look flushed. Anyone have tips for concealing redness all over? That's my main problem with my face -___-. Especially since I'm going to be moving from the foggy San Francisco to LA for college! =[

| Bonjour ladies!
Hi! I'm Marisa aka Rissy. I'm 19 & from Oklahoma. Umm..not much else to say. LOL. But it's about time I've found a forum dedicated to ASIAN beauty. I've been browsing around and you all look gorge! :]
I'm not really creative with my makeup, so you may not see me posting any FOTD's soon :P. Well, I guess I've already ran out of things to say. Ciao! |

| Hello ABB Ladies =)
I am here to rant (yes rant) about how AMAZINGLY awesome "Banana Boat Dark Tanning Oil SPF 4" is.
So me and my friend, M, decided to tan in her backyard since college is starting and we're both pale (I'm Asian, but still pale for an Asian...><)...after reading some reviews on MakeupAlley.com, we decided to try this tanning oil and tan in her backyard. So we sprayed some of this oil on, laid out on towels and 1 and 1/2 hour later, we both ended up with AMAZING bikini tans...I mean AMAZING. My friend M NEVER tans. She is caucasian and has uber sensitive skin that just burns really easily. Today, with this amazing tanning oil, was the first time she actually got TAN.
This tanning oil smells absolutely delicious- a blend of banana and coconut. It's not greasy at all and you can rub it in really well. It takes 30 minutes to tan the front, 30 minutes the back, and voila, awesome enviable tan!
After we tanned, we "set" the tan with "Hawaiian Tropic Lime Coolada After Sun Moisturizer" which is supposed to hold in the tan for longer...since it's our first time doing this...Idk if this has started to work yet. But it's very moisturizing and smells like a Pina Colada =)
So I have a question for you ladies, what other "after sun" moisturizers do y'all use? I am hoping I can get some recommendations for other lotions and moisturizers that are good with prolonging and "setting" summer tans! Thanks a bunch y'all! |
