I'm still pretty much a noob at makeup. So when I try to do something fancy, it turns out wack. Voila est my every day look. I apologize for the skanky pic. Haha.
Ohh, and I did take this pic from my old-ass camera phone, which explains the quality too :P

a lot of makeup artists seem SO rude?
I hear a lot of stories about how MAC artists treat their customers like crap. I haven't been to a MAC counter in so long...so I can't agree or disagree with that. However, I did go into a Sephora store today. I was surprised that the store was SO busy. Out of all the employees in there, only one was nice to me. The others were probably queen b*tches back in high school. LOL. They walked with their noses in the air, talked snobbish, and were pretty much lazy.
I came in the store to get matched for BE foundation. The makeup artist that ”helped” me was chatting with a flamboyantly gay employee...who STARED me down and kinda scoffed at me while he went away to do his ”work.” Haha, well I know I was looking like crap. I was wearing my SO's hoodie (it was raining today) and jeans. But anyway, the other makeup artist insisted that I should get the medium kit..which included everything. The only thing was, the medium kit has the cool & neutral foundations...which wouldn't match my skintone. So, I kindly asked the makeup artist if I could try the Golden Medium. But NOO! She kept trying to persuade me to try the kit. After a few tries, she finally agreed to test out the Medium Beige and the Golden Medium. She only tested a little on my jawline and said that both blended into my skin. Then she handed me the Golden Medium. I ended up getting it (don't know why, I guess I'll return it).
Sheesh. It just seemed like high school all over again, or maybe an Ugly Betty episode. SOORRY that I'm not anywhere near gorge! Haha. Nonetheless, I'm avoiding that Sephora until they get nicer employees. Hmph. |
