you could try cetaphil. there are 2 types of it, the gentle cleanser, and the ”daily” one. i don’t know exactly what they’re called. but i love the gentle cleanser coz it really is. it doesn’t leave your face dry at all. but then just coz it’s so gentle, sometimes im not satisfied by how much it cleans, so i use st.ives apricot scrub once in a while. that scrub is also nice because it has the right size and amount of those beads so it’s not too harsh and it doesn’t dry my face up either.
I use the aspirin mask as a cleanser every night. Aspirin with few drops of water to soften then add honey to cover. Mix it up. Put it on your face for ten mins.wash off in circular motions. The aspirin is a grainy texture so helps exfoliate and for many people (including me) helps clear skin. Honey is an antibacterial agent plus helps moisturize. I don’t put moisturizer on after because the honey works wonders, but you can if you like. Cheap and worth a try, I recommend this to anyone and everyone, my beauty secret!
thanks - i’ll try both! i am really excited!!
I have combo skin too but the center of my face is super dry (eyes, nose, cheeks and lips) and everywhere else is oily. I like to use Olay Sensitive Skin Cleasner and any of the Aveeno Cleasners. I have eczema on my face and they are both gentle enough to not irritate it but also strong enough to take all my make-up off.

Hi,
There is this gentle cleansing wash called ”Purpose” it is by Johnson & Johnson... It is gentle yet it removes make up really well.... You should give it a try and let me know if you like it. |

I’ve heard great things about Purpose on YouTube. Most people said it was a little drying, so make sure you moisturize. I heard Purpose cleanses better than Cetaphil. But I’m sticking with Cetaphil just b/c certain parts of my face gets dry easily.
I used to use Purpose and loved it because you can use it to wash off eye make-up. It is true that it can be drying because it contains sodium laureth sulfate, which is great for lathering, but may strip the skin of moisture. In addition, it also contains cocamidopropyl betaine, which can irritate the skin. You should use Purpose with a oil-free moisturizer (some types of oil is good to have, like jojoba). As for Cetaphil, the cleanser is great because it is also gentle but don’t get it in your eyes, ^_^.
I really like The Faceshop green tea fine foam facial cleanser. It is good for oily skin, and is very gentle to your face (good for sensitive oily skin)...and it feels very clean after you use it. I would recommend this. Also, after you wash your face..try using some moisturizer. I like to use Aveeno skin relief moisturizing lotion. It protects your skin from dryness, and, of course, moisturizes it really well. Oh, and both products use natural ingredients.
