So, today I looked in the mirror, and I started to notice that I'm actually getting pretty chubby. Like, my jawline is slowly receding into the growing, skin of my neck, and my arms are becoming rounder and bouncier, and my legs are growing surplus flesh around the upper thigh, flesh that resonate invisible ripples into the air everytime I take a step, and that fat is pleasantly residing on the upper corners above my hipline, forming those beautiful cirrus-cloud-soft-like, beloved things called lovehandles.
So. .
How the hell do I get rid of them?
It's really funny, because I checked the scale today as well, and it said 106 (lbs). Maybe my scale is broken. Because in the past, when I was 115 lbs, I wasn't even as fat as I am now. And I can confidently say, it's not because my eyesight is getting better that I can see this growing fat.
AND NO! I'm not anorexic, I love to eat too much for that.
So does anyone have any personal methods for gradual weightloss that doesn't require more time than ten minutes a day? And food tips? I think it might be schoolfood that's getting to me (it's hard to eat healthy there, not only is the food costly, it's also drenched in oil).
Any tips would help, and NO I'M NOT WHINING ABOUT MY WEIGHT ETC. I'm writing this entry because I know preventing more fat is far easier than trying to lose them after gaining them.

awwww!!! if it makes you feel any better...i’m getting a massive gut LOL...i blame winter and 5 cups of hot chocolate a day ><
my dad’s doing great on weight loss, he went from a massiveeee beer belly to completely flat...it’s amazing...but then again he’s got gall stones...hence he hasn’t been allowed to eat anything that is too oily...
But i think his diet had a LOT to do with his weight loss...so i advise you to filter out the fatty food ie chocolate, anything deepfried, lasagne.. etc.. eat a little but not too much...
make sure you eat a lot of vegies and fruit...thats what my mum does, she hasn’t exercised for...iduno 15 years and she’s still somewhat...slim by living off vegies and fruit..:S
the other thing is exercise...i’m a hardcore exerciser...well used to be anyway...i did about 2-4hrs of exercising a day and I was as fit as a bouncy ball...but even 20mins worth of jogging, skipping or even YOGA (<---omg that thing is sooo good, i did it for 3 months and i slept like a baby at night)
I know the oily food at school is usually cheap...thats why i always take my own lunch.... at my uni a whole box of chips and gravy is $3 while a box of salad is almost $9...so pack your own lunch.. or get your mum to do it

| Hmmmmm...........Drink water and/or Tea, alot of ppl that I know who want to shed some pound like green tea. I think you can eat anything you want as long as it’s in the moderate (sp) porportions. YOu could try 6 small meals a day instead of 3. A great way to lose some weight is dancing! or playing sports, if you have the wii fit that would help. Hope this helped, and best of luck to you! |

Sodas are evil. lol. and do cardio 10 mins every day. If you have to have fatty foods, eat in moderation. Diets fail 9 times out of 10 so just do portion control. Eat small healthy meals at least 5 times a day. Don’t starve yourself because the physiological effect is counterintuitive. Your body will store more fat if you starve yourself. good luck! |
the situation u’ve described abt urself is so similar to mine! i’ve gained so much ever since going overseas to study! :/ quite sad! im trying to lose those excessive fats healthily now.
i’ve seen some progress mysefl but it a gradual one. try to limit ur portion of food and abstain from fried food. eat it occasionally if u really have cravings for it (: but rmb, take note of portion sizes! eat ALOT of fruits and veg cos it’d fill u up easily! :D drink green tea too! (: it helps to speed up metabolism.

First of all, muscle weighs more than fat, and has less volume per same mass. So, if you were 115 and *looked* thinner, most likely you had a higher density of muscle than fat, which explains why you also weighed more than you do now, but now you look less lean than before.
Recently I’ve actually gained 5 lbs, but my clothes fit as they did before, and even better because the weight that I gained was from muscle, due to exercise.
If you want to lose volume, you should cut out junk-food with high sodium, fat, and carbs (refined sugar and grains). Couple this with regular cardio, and you should lose close to a pound a week if done properly. If you don’t cut the number of calories in your diet, then you will only be adding more muscle to existing fat, and thus look thicker.
Don’t cut your calories to the point that you end up feeling starved and eventually binge on everything in your cupboards. Especially do not reserve a day just so you can do that, because it is not a healthy way of living whatsover. It’s only a vicious cycle of starve-binge-starve-binge etc, and being healthy should make you happy, not miserable.
You can calculate your BMR in order to find how many calories you should eat in a day, and subtract 100-200 calories from that in order to lose weight, but never go under 1200 calories per day.

dont eat carbs. eat white meat like fish or chicken breast. sallad and no dressing,the white meat contains good fat for ur body.
drink lots of water, dont drink soda, and eat healthier breakfast. coz breakfast is important. oatker meal or anything with lots of fibrer. dont ever skip breakfast. u will never loose weight if you skip it.
