Hope everyone had a great new year's and is looking forward to 2008. I've seen some postings on color contacts and decided to post some pics of color contacts I've tried to give anyone who is curious and has never tried an idea of how it looks. However, all the different colors look different on everyone depending on your hair color, features and bone structure.

| I recently purchased Stila Illuminating Tinted Moisturizer after long contemplation. I normally use Laura Mercier's Tinted Moisturizer and I love it but I wanted something a little lighter with more light reflection. There are mixed reviews on Stila's Illuminating TM on makeup alley but most buyers on Amazon were very happy with the product. I'm glad I tried it becuase I think it's great for everyday wear.

| Hello to all the ABB Beauties!
Hope everyone is doing well and enjoying the holiday season. I decided to update after buying a Metal X shadow (with some other random looks thrown in as well). I wasn't planning on purchasing any Metal X but ended up trying out GoldSpice after I went to MAC to pick up Antiqued eyeshadow. After GoldSpice I went back to pick up 6th Sin (after seeing Stephie's hot look!). Now, I think the purple Metal X shadow would be great to use on nights out but it was sold out the 2 attempts I tried to get it. Hopefully, they will have it at the next store I try.

I don't have any exciting makeup topics to update but I plan to soon. However, I read this article in the November National Geographic issue and it was too touching to pass up. Who would've thought a touching sappy love story in National Geographic? I'm really not a sap at all (i was when i was younger though) but this story was just too touching not to share....

Hope you are all doing well and staying healthy during this time. I bought 2 shadows from the MAC Originals collection, Ochre Style (muted warm gold) and the infamous Parrot.
The look I tried was based off of Stephie's Neutral Eye with a pop but I can already begin to think of the fun looks anyone can do with Parrot.
